Question by Gary: who is semon bache & co on the back of furniture?
I have a bedroom set thats old… i think, solid maple dovetail droors and it has hearts in the back of every piece of the set, comes with the bed 2 dressers and a mirror, and on the back of the mirror it says
semon bache & co new york since 1847
anyone know how i can find more info on this set? Thanks

Sorry, putting Semon Bache into a search engine comes up with Julus Semon Bache (1861 – 1944). There is quite a lot on him, but I can’t find the company you are looking for.
