Question by shellie e: does any1 know where i can get mini cooper bed set and matching furniture and accsessories?
my son is mad about the british theme especially mini coopers . has graffti bedroom wall with the british flag cooper incorparated now would like any thing 2 do with the new shape mini i.e.bedroom furniture and accsessories,.

i am 15 and have been in the same bedroom since i was eight and i really don’t like it, long story short, it is getting unpleasant to be in (not trying to sound selfish, but i promise, if you were in there too, you would be happy to leave!) Although it is not that it is dirty it is very childish and, just not very nice! anyway i have seen this beautiful bedroom sets from Newtons Furniture. They are french (the furniture) and i adore the style.

the problem is, is that they are rather expensive, and i would have to pay for it. So what i am asking is if anyone knows if there are any cheap french furniture stores. i like newtons because everything matches so i would want everything to match. In my bedroom i would have;
A double bed
A bedside table
A nightstand/small chest of drawers
A armchair
A dressing table (i am alowed all of these things, and my parents would prefer to have these in my room, so i need some of them)
Newtons has all of that in a set, but i don’t want to pay that it’s like £1500 :S
I can’t go to any auction houses, and the problem with antiques is that the chances of you finding another piece of furniture with matches is pretty slim, and anyway antiques are EXPENSIVE! So if you know any very cheap french furniture stores then please tell me Also a lot of these french furniture stores have the same beds (like exactly the same) i’m just wondering where they get them from… somebody must be selling them all to everyone.

This is the problem there is no such thing as cheap french furniture, your right it is soooooo expensive! you have a few options

have a look on ebay for some bargins

go to antique stores and find furniture that is the shape you like, then sand it and paint it french cream/grey/white yourself

Settle for ikea they have the odd piece of white furniture that when, acsessorized properly can look really good , try the hemnes collection or the kivby drawers.

maisons du monde has some gorgeous which is still a bit expensive but by far the cheapest iv seen! – they deliver to most countries

hello, we have purchased a bedroom furniture set from a local shop over 3 months ago, the price is paid in full. when we ring them they keep on telling us to call back next week because supposedly the furniture has not arrived yet. because we really want the furniture we dont want to ask for refund, but if it would be possible in some way to get a discount for stuff or something like choosing other (more expensive maybe? ) furniture instead of this one. need some legal advice here, thx for any help
